olempiaps Posted 27 January, 2021 Share Posted 27 January, 2021 Soon were gonna get the Daniel negreanu version of «more rake is better» here on CG 😂 Where streamers will swear by «Lower RTP is better for everyone» 1 2 Quote Link to comment
desity2017 Posted 27 January, 2021 Share Posted 27 January, 2021 I can't speak from everyone's name here, but I am surprised as everyone else here. How can I even comment on something that I am not aware of.. Whatever is for you guys - same for us... Its very unfortunate and i will be happy to know why they did that. CasinoGrounds has nothing to do with the decisions LeoVegas is making. I hope we will have some update in next couple of days. Quote Link to comment

I wonder what the reason is for doing that, I mean I'm pretty sure they're already making plenty of $$$. For anyone that thinks RTP doesn't matter. Check out the following movie, actually every slot player should check it out. Pretty interesting information imo. Haha if rtp would be not realky important there would be no such a thing like rtp.maybe for some people with massive wallet rtp means fuck all but for average players means fucking a lot.gokd you post this kind video in here cos there always some dickheads who gonna get facts in front of his face and still try to deny the truth. I am convinced that no online casino can maintain the highest RTP settings and hand out bonuses and generous player rewards at the same time, and was already wondering how Leovegas managed to do so for so long up till now. If the reduced RTP on selected providers and slots is the only change for now, the forum readers as educated players can still choose to play all other slots. (for example BigTime Gaming that still has only 1 RTP setting) Only the players who don't read gambling forums and fineprint/help files lose a bit faster and overall probably a bit more. Probably not fair but I prefer other people losing a little bit faster than I do over all people losing at the same rate while I am not getting any bonuses. You're welcome Edited 27 January, 2021 by vanHooff in 15 years there will not be any different RTP settings anymore, dictated by EU law. Quote Link to comment

You're welcome Yes, and casinos like LeoVegas are not allowed to give bonuses to me who lives in Sweden. But I get lower rtp so you can get them. Naulith Posted 28 January, 2021 Author Share Posted 28 January, 2021 Moon Princess is still showing 96.5 in the description (at least the Swedish translation) but 94.5 inside the slot. It is so ugly done. No way they ”forgot” to change the descriptions. Run away and never look back. Quote Link to comment
Naulith Posted 28 January, 2021 Author Share Posted 28 January, 2021 (edited) Yes, like prices in a store. Put 10-12$ on the price tag and you don’t need to worry about having your front end correct. Edited 28 January, 2021 by Naulith Quote Link to comment

It is so ugly done. No way they ”forgot” to change the descriptions. Run away and never look back. Yesterday I have checked the RTP of many Play´n go slots from inside the slot, by reading the text listed after clicking the ? mark . Also I have tried to doublecheck the RTP from the browser (F12 - inspect) but that did not work for me. For me (my region? Netherlands) Moon Princess shows the 94.51% RTP setting as of today. Leovegas operates in many regulated markets. Some if not all of these regulated markets demand that the RTP can be found easily. If I read correctly, the RTP is also displayed in some sort of decription for Swedish market, not only in the game help file. Might this be a requirement for the Swedish license, that the RTP is to be displayed on the game description or landing page? I am quite surprised to read that the wrong RTP was printed because Leovegas is huge in Sweden and I imagine that displaying the wrong RTP on slots is a fairly serious breach of license. From perspective of compliancy/maintenance it is probably best if the RTP is always displayed on the game page itself, but I understand that this is not desirable. Quote Link to comment
LetsGiveItASpin Posted 28 January, 2021 Share Posted 28 January, 2021 I'm pissed about this, I was asked the question around 1 year ago and I said I really don't like it and I've personally tried to fight it since. The counter argument is though, do players care? Unfortunately on the casinos that have had lower RTP for a long time none seem to care, the turnover is still the same, the only thing that goes up is the casino profit. If our community was big enough to have a significant impact on the numbers, I'm certain the RTP would be raised again. I personally will try and avoid the lower RTP providers and hope it has some effect but others would have to do the same. Some streamers have said for years that RTP doesn't matter and sure enough, if you take a deposit bonus on EVERY deposit, the effect from the RTP is less significant, hence it doesn't matter for them but it will matter for the players. Something I'd also like to raise is WHY are two machines allowed to look the EXACT same way and have a different RTP? Why don't regulators force an I.E 96% RTP Book of Dead to have the name "Book of Dead 96", a 94% have the name "Book of Dead 94" and the 88% "Book of Dead 88". I also believe that the regulators should FORCE providers to write out the RTP on the splash screen when you enter the game. 12 3 Quote Link to comment

Slotplayer Posted 28 January, 2021 Share Posted 28 January, 2021 So was an announcement to all of their players made regarding this, or was it done undercover in the hope that nobody would notice? 1 Quote Link to comment
daenyboi Posted 28 January, 2021 Share Posted 28 January, 2021 I mean as a business model why not lower it, its sad for the players only, like casinos doenst have enough profits, shady stuffl ike this now im talking generally not about only LeoVegas, is reason Swedne , UK market and soon others will be permanently shutdown, maybe it was time for it, to end this online casino industry Quote Link to comment
explorer Posted 28 January, 2021 Share Posted 28 January, 2021 Same on Royal Panda, which was my favorite casino in 2020. Oh well, their loss. I guess I'll mostly play on Betsson Group sites now. Quote Link to comment

Obviously heard nothing from them! The CS has also changed. They won`t tell anything. Like why they remove certain providers and if they will add others. That is - if they bother answering. I played there since late 2016 every month basically and is not treated very nice when I compare tp Pokerstars, Videoslots etc Quote Link to comment
Tussilago87 Posted 28 January, 2021 Share Posted 28 January, 2021 Money talks, as a Swede i have No reason or interest in playing slots that pay worse Than they can do, like playing raw all the Time isnt expensive enought, well it starts with play&go soon i Guess all the Prags and redtigers are set in the low rtp aswell, just a matter of Time, sad Quote Link to comment

olempiaps Posted 30 January, 2021 Share Posted 30 January, 2021 Just to show the difference on a small size how this affects even in the short term. Start : 5000 NOK raw game : Book of dead(94.2%) betsize : 5kr total amount of spins : 3897 bonuses : 11 best win : 58x Can send over data history from Leovegas casino history if anyone wants to look. Basically went from a 1/170 bonus to 1/360 and bonus is now Even worse Quote Link to comment
