Just to show the difference on a small size how this affects even in the short term.
Start : 5000 NOK raw

game : Book of dead(94.2%)

betsize : 5kr

total amount of spins : 3897

bonuses : 11

best win : 58x

Can send over data history from Leovegas casino history if anyone wants to look.

Basically went from a 1/170 bonus to 1/360 and bonus is now Even worse

What was the end balance from this 5000NOK

The RTP is spread out over a million of spins. Not your avg session. But yes lowering RTP can affect the amount of bonusses dropped, the amount of wins you get, Ive seen worse really.

Updated games that lost their way of playing; pragmatic is one of those providers that initially sets new games to a favourable RTP and once that is saturated the RTP is dropped in favor of new (promotional) games. And so the circus of screwing of players on the long term continues.

Hence i stated a small sample. I’m well aware this could be «bad luck». However playNGo have never felt the same after 2018/2019.

I have had the same feeling. When they did the "upgrade" a year after they released Book of Dead everything felt different. Playngo is a dirty company in my opinion.... The saviour of fake casinos.. haha

Soon the same RTP landbased & online... Just much higher operation costs in landbased casinos.

The industry has only gone one way... DOWN

I will never play on slots with lower RTP than 95 % RTP. If the other providers do the same as Playngo, Pragmatic, Nolimitcity, Redtiger. I will soon quit gambling for good! Period!

Redtiger is only playable on 2-3 casinos because most of the casinos offer RTP of 92,50%.. Love their games but I have only played them on three ocations last year because of it...

Well that sucks.

When the house lowers the RTP it increases the house advantage. In this case the house advantage has gone from 3.4% to 5.5% which, to simplify we will say is an increase of 50% (it is slightly over), means that you will lose 1.5 times what you would have expected to lose previously. Over time, for every £100 you would have lost previously you will now lose £150, for every £1000 you will now lose £1500 etc etc.

Having said that your little session does not really mean anything and is not proof of anything. You need a lot more spins then 3897 to prove, display or notice a trend.

If you were to analyse this session of 3897 spins it wouldn't indicate anything about the RTP that you think it does. 3897 spins at 5 KR with a result of -5000Nok means that you had a RTP of 74.44% for that session. The number of spins is just too tiny for any kind of statement about the 94.5% RTP as, if you were to use them to calculate the RTP, they will give you a result that is completely different then the 94.5% rtp.

I did 20 000 spins on reactoonz last year that I kept track of and in those spins I hit 4 Garga and my RTP was +/- 40%. This was on the 96.5% version. I can't then post my resluts and say that they have lowed the bonus frequency to 1 in 5000.

Does RTP even affect the bonus frequency? I doubt it. Book of Deads bonus frequency is in 177 spins. They don't need to change the bonus frequency when they can just make you hit one less 3 of a kind every xxx spins.

I suggest that you move to another casino, when a big casino does a move like that its time to go.
If you don't move they will just keep lowering the RTP, if the RTP wasn't bad from the start.

PlaynGo slots have not been the same since end of 2018, when big streamers started playing reactoonz and book on stream and won big over and over, got normal players to start doing the same and then suddenly they nerfed everything that they could.

It was hard to sin before, now its not possible. I Close My account om every casino that lower THE rtp. Nowdays i never play in casino anymore.

I have closed over 100 casino accounts last two years. All the casinos that have lowered the RTP has been permanently closed. I currently have 10 casinos left. If they do the same they will be closed aswell. 🙂

I have hade same strategy. But after play casinos in many years i dont like it anymore. And all started when casinos start with lowering rtp. I dont think about slots anymore because i know its impossible to sin and i dont like to unfair casinos that are greedy.

Good thread...

My take on RTP is that it's just an imaginary number. It's what casinos have to provide to operate to show that slots have "theoretically a good chance of getting you almost all your money back".

No one knows the amount of spins used to determine this number and it's agreed that in any case that number is absurd (millions, billions, etc...).

For any normal player or even a streamer, these numbers are not something they will do in their lifetime so I don't really understand the need to dwell on such an insignificant number.

I mean for all we know there is a 1:1,000,000 chance of hitting a max win on a slot which is supposed to "give you back your money". Sure, play 1,000,000 spins and you'll probably hit that. Didn't hit that maxwin.. oops, sorry... you'll get a 45% RTP instead.

No one knows how slots work. Be sure that they are rigged so that short term you'll lose most of your money and you'll find the actual RTP is much smaller than 95%, 90%, 80% or even 70% most of the time.
