UKGC additional verification.

Just hit some trigger prompting xxxxxxxxxxx to block my account until I provide them with contract of employment showing my salary, payslips.

Ah, such aggravation.

I know they require this, to maintain their license, so usually I just send whatever I'm asked for without much drama, but, damn;

I've been playing a roulette tournament there all week and in first place. It finishes 30 minutes from now and the prizes are paid out tomorrow by 1500, I should stay in first place, very slim chance to drop to second or third.

The T&C of the promotion state:

If a player's account is self-excluded or blocked during the campaign period, the player will not be eligible for any prize.

Can you believe this.

The connotations:

 don't want this player to win the promotion? block his account.

Well, will see, maybe they will pay out. If not they will ultimately end up refunding everything I lost taking part.

I dont think a temporary verification block is the same as being blocked on the page. But you never know how they twist it around.

I hope you are right.

I did the source of wealth stuff with another casino on the same license a couple of months ago. It was very quick, less then a couple of hours, hoping for the same efficiency today.

I've never been asked for all that stuff and wouldn't send it if I did,but I suspect you turn over a fair sum of money therefore they are asking for this proof just to make sure? I do agree it's taking the p@ss but I can understand it with larger stakes and deposit gamblers to be honest.I would kick up a fuss as I am a small time player but can see how others may be targeted.

I don't mind the verification stuff, I understand they are obligated to do it.

I had a very good month last month and my level of play increased a fair bit. The weekend was bad, had about £4k in deposits which was about twice as much as my entire previous deposits.

They even called me to make sure I was ok and that I wasn't a responsible gambling concern. Pretty good conduct by them.

An automatic  block doesn't consider your tournament, nevertheless it's good you sorted it in time.
