@dirtystack I know you work in the casino industry and has great knowledge of how things work so just a question. I know that casumo had to pay huge fines in the past on the grounds of AML compliance. But the OP has only deposited 640 pounds over 2 years time . OPs husband has provided them the SOW proofs ,  I am sure anyone working in the UK could afford £640 over 2 years. I mean its not 640, 000 deposit to suspect it for black money. What do you think is casumo trying to acheive by asking OP to explain 4 years of transactions ?

they payed me my money about 4 hours ago its in my bank account now im so happy this is over

after them harrasing me for more stuff to prove to them i can afford to gamble i basically said that im putting a complaint in and if its still not sorted im going to the ADR this was under the advice from the gambling commission so after them telling me "if thats youre wish to go down that road" within one hour i had recieved an email from them saying my withdrawal has been approved and it should be with me within the next 1-5 days i was skepticial as i had been told this before but about a few hours the later the money was in my bank account.

now my reviews on casumo wont change i still think they are very slow and their live chat team is a bunch of liars who tell you what you want to hear they really need to train them up better to be more on hand at updating accounts and putting notes on accounts.

its sad that you basically have to threaten a company to get what is rightfully yours and to be made to feel like a criominal is just wrong at a time where people are supposed to be happy with their winnings they get made to feel like they are the one to blame why they arent paying you out.

my advice to people is dont play on casumo and if you do be prepared to be made to feel like a criminal but if you do have a big win and they are playing silly beggars threaten them with the gambling comission and ADR and they will quickly pay you out.

than you to everyone who commented and helped me along the way. now i can really have a good christmas.

I will be using simplified example with made up numbers to give you an idea;

Additional verification trigger = single buyin of/over 5 000 in one visit, OR, total buyin of/over 50 000 in a 3 month rolling  period, OR, cash out of/over 5 000 in a single session, OR, cash out of/over 50 000 in a 3month rolling period.

The triggers, depending where you are playing, can vary from club to club depending on the clubs classification. Online has it’s own triggers which are lower then land based major casinos.

As for what Casumo is trying to achieve by asking for 4 years of info I have no idea - once they had confirmation from the husband via the benefactors letter, well, there is little more they could reasonably ask for in my opinion.

This is all assuming what Redbomb has conveyed to us in this thread is the truth - there is often extenuating circumstance we, as readers, are not privy to - anyway, I chose to assist in what limited capacity I could.

Get some hate for it though😂

Very happy for you Redbomb👍

I'm so happy for you that this is all over now, I was following this post for a while and just caught up.

My blood was boiling when you said they weren't going to pay out and their arrogant response, I will NEVER touch this casino again and will always recommend for people to stay away.

Checks may be necessary but these kind of blatant tactics could literally push someone over the edge, anyway just be mindful of wherever you gamble again and treat yourself fir now 👍

Very lucky that you got paid. If it was some smaller casino, the situation could have been different. And, when it comes to ADR, most of the 'independent' adjudicators are funded by the same casinos they adjudicate. I've been helping people out with it for a couple of years now and it is extremely challenging to get a positive outcome when it comes to ADR route.

Save the money buddy and Merry Christmas.
