Slotsmillion Withdrawals

So opened an account here, made a withdrawal. They have asked for 5 documents including Passport and proof of address. In the UK this is a thing of the past as this check is performed on sign up under the new regs. Why are they doing this? They also do not note they require all this on sign up which is again against the new rules. Also when you withdraw you cannot withdraw again until the current withdrawal is processed which is really pissing me off.

So what's the problem exactly? That you didn't have to provide documents upon opening the account?

Verification of the player needs to always be done, if not on sign-up then usually on withdrawal.

Your missing my point. The verification happens automatically in the UK defeating the need for docs.

Pretty sure that there's no "automatic" verification in the UK. There will be always needs for documents, be it proof of address, credit card, source of wealth, etc. Unless something has changed in past week this is how it always was. The only thing changed was that casinos should do verification upon account opening.

Not all casinos have automatic verification unless it's very new like 2 weeks old you

If you know this fact please show evidence so I can use it against any casino wantinging to very me

They have to do identity checks on sign up, it is the law. If they cant do it automatically they cant allow you to gamble until you have provided docs. So, my point again, why ask for these ID docs if they have already conducted this "automatic check on sign up" which I have obviously passed? Its duplication and the UKGC brought these rules in partly to stop this nonsense of stalling a withdrawal.

Well I'm sorry but before you can gamble you need to have verified identity, that's the rules post May. The vast majority do this automatically and if they cant they ask for docs.

Most recently at 2 well know casinos I was not verified, also include deposit at them casino. 90% will allow deposit before verify just some  casino ask to verify fist and block on sign up but that like 5% to 10% of casinos. i like the idea verify first tho. I also joined a group casino where I could play before verify but asked for docs when I won recently! If it was law they wouldn't allow me to deposit before verify. Different casinos would have different rules to follow I would think depends on your level of licence. But just guessing

In the UK the law is now that Identity checks  need to take place before allowing a player to gamble. See links attached, particularly 4.17

What deposit method did you use? 

How do you expekt them to verify you? if you dont sent them document or use Bank ID?

SlotsMillion usually asks for documents upon signing up for them and are usually very quick once this is done. UK verification is a must for all customers.

Few days ago. ID and Address was only asked for when making a withdrawal, which is exactly against what the UKGC state in the above document. I haven't seen any other casino ask for this since May as they have been able to verify automatically. Card etc I can understand a request for but ID etc I cant.

You can easily verify age and identity automatically, plenty software out there. No other casino I am on has asked for anything from me at all, not even a copy of the card. Slotsmillion are an exception.

 Slots million asked it after the first deposit for me.

Every other site has asked for additional verification when I have hit certain triggers, usually 2k in deposits.

Maybe they just consider everyone in a "risk assessment" state until they get additional verification.

What's Bank ID? Take it this is Sweden your talking about. I'm talking about the UK here and we don't have anything like Bank ID.

Maybe the mandatory is just verify you age doesn't mean they dont need to verify payment method or address they can't verify a payment method on sign up and before you play I suppose, and respg40 some casino don't verify untill you reach a certain level

Yep, which is , as defined by the UKGC, Basic KYC. Honestly, every other casino fine and no issues. Videoslots, Leo, WH etc not asked for anything at all as they can do it electronically but here being asked for 5 documents to process a withdrawal. Btw it's still not processed!

No, the LAW, sorry for the caps but I have already confirmed this. Is that You need to perform basic KYC, that means name, date of birth and address before they permit you to gamble. Also the Markets Commission have stated categorically that redoing basic KYC should not stall a withdrawal. These are the rules in the UK.

But what will stop you is your payment verify as there not going to ask until you deposit for that so yes on this one mate

I'm not disputing checking the payment methods etc but I do object to ID and address again(which took over 24 hours to verify). All at withdrawal stage. If I eventually get the money that's fine but days and days without anything happening is completely against what is meant to be achieved by these checks.

I see your point some casino have guides by licence and not law tho are you sure its law because they broke it in your case then if it is
