Should casinos be forced to lock withdrawals?

So long story short had a nice win for a low roller £8 > £240 and cashed out, had a few drinks after work and was bored waiting for bus home ended up reversing the withdrawal and blew the lot buying bonuses on extra chilli only winning 1/12 gambles which only paid 20x when collecting 16 spins. Do you think that casinos should automatically lock withdrawals to stop situations like this happening?

No there should be no option for the reverse withdrawal at all, once you cashout that's it until it hits your payment account. depending on casinos just set a 'loss limit of £1' per 24 hours, then you can't lose it anyway.

@Azzablags hi thare azza i think that every casino should have the choice.

1- when you withdraw you can lock it down and thats final.

2- you can leave your withdrawl open to be reversed and will be processed in the usual way. Means it may be open for a couple of days.

Thats what i think all casino's should have in place. 2 options.

That is it keep it simple. Once you click withdrawal its done and no turning back.

Casumo is the only casino i (know) of that has a lock withdrawal option, But you can only find it if you check history, It should lock itself and have no chance of returning to your balance. Even though you can withdraw to quit the bonus you have and then cancel the withdrawal to play with balance.

Just think its more simple this way.

I can list two casinos off the top off my head that do this.

sky vegas.

pokerstars.

From a responsible gambling point of view you shouldn't be able to reverse a withdraw request. Then you're gambling away your winnings and aren't "happy" until you're broke....

If you put in a deposit limit on a site, then it takes a week before you can raise that limit, reversing a withdraw is more or less a new deposit of that sum but casinos don't see it that way as if you reverse it they don't have to pay it out.....

As an example, if you deposit 100 euro on a site, you win up to 1000 euro, you withdraw 900 euro and continue to play with the 100 remaining euro.

You loose those 100 euro, now if you reverse your winning, it's like you would make a new deposit of 900 euro and here we come to serious RP issues, now you're starting to chase your losses (sure, you're 800 euro up).

But think about it, you are (depositing) reversing 900 euro to chase your loss of the initial 100 euro that you just lost.... so if a casino takes RP seriously then you shouldn't be able to reverse a withdraw request.

Very frustrating as been there myself in a similar situation  and am sure many more,  bored , alcohol temptation will trigger a person to reverse , if you reverse and hit big it was the right choice however if you don't wrong choice , the mind is open to deception in many ways important to understand them  , all I can say is if you are in profit and that money can be used towards a holiday , car, etc run , as the slots are never going away and you can always come back another day.

Sky vegas although has not got all the best of popular slots , definally has the best withdraw system in place , a withdraw is in a players account in seconds, based on my experience which is any day or any time including Sunday , no verification , no processing times,no silly emails, which is clearly a example there is nobody viewing accounts or pressing a button , I am therefore  highly confused why other casino's do not have or use this automated software or technology ? The fact of locking a withdraw is there fore not required if the system used by sky vegas is the same as all casinos  , therefore if  a player then wants to play/gamble he or she is making a fresh deposit from there account which is a completely different feeling to reversing a withdrawal and losing.

So to end my post the question that needs to be answered is with the software or technology being available to make withdrawals fast , any time any day , why do u actually need a lock withdraw function ? Surely all casinos could save money by paying staff etc , and use the system sky vegas have in place , if I ever want to have a few spins on roulette it would definally be sky vegas as I know if I was lucky my winnings would be in my account in seconds which surely from a players view is better than a couple of days .

Sky  is a Very large successful company so i think they can spend a lot more money on software... If that is the case.

But i think not. If everybody kept all there winnings these casino sites would be a thing of the past. It is the same as when we breach rules they love to confiscate the winnings.

We all moan yet we still play. They do provide a place for us to play our favourite games and i have and will stick to casinos with the best options from now on,

Not going to risk anything.
