Needless to say, after about £500 in wagering I went to check how the wagering was going and it was at 5.10%. So I thought it must have been glitching so went and wagered another £80 to see if it changed, it didn't. So I asked chat why it wasn't changing and this was the response. "Our system shows you’re currently using your bonus balance to play. Bonus balance bets don’t count towards our wagering requirement, which is why it’s not changing. Only cash balance bets count towards the wagering requirement.Please bear in mind that you always start playing with your cash balance first. Only after your cash balance runs out do you start playing with your bonus balance - and that's what happened here.To start meeting the wagering requirement again, please redeposit and continue playing. You’ll then switch back to playing with your cash balance, and your bets will start counting towards our wagering requirement again. Our system shows that you’ve met £53 of the wagering requirement so far. That means you need to bet another £997 using cash balance bets to be able to withdraw your bonus and the winnings won using it. To check the status of your progress towards meeting the wagering requirement, simply go to the “My account” section, and from there go to “My bonuses”." So basically, are they telling my I have to deposit £1000 to meet my wagering requirements? This is the most ridiculous deposit bonus terms I have ever seen. Link to comment

Both while advertising and while selecting the bonus, we do mention that wagering is done with the cash balance, and on the promotions page it's explained in more detail how it works. You definitely don't have to deposit £1000 to meet the WR. What most players like to do is play on with the bonus up to a level where you think it's worth to deposit and clear the bonus. Others play more safe with their initial deposit to try and meet the WR before losing their cash balance. Either way, there are a lot of advantages to our bonus system as well. While you play with your cash balance, there are no terms/restrictions. No max bet, no withdrawal restrictions or anything. Also there is no max win on bonus winnings. If you're lucky you could clear the bonus while playing with the cash, but the downside is that you'd need to re-deposit if you want to meet the wagering requirements after losing your cash. The funny (and good) thing is: i normally play on 0.2 to 0.4 and sometimes i play higher. This time the Bonus hits on 1€ 280x is my new record!!
