RUBYSLIPPERS Posted 6 November, 2017 Share Posted 6 November, 2017 Hi all , I was in 2 minds to post this or not , but if it could save anyone making a stupid mistake like i have (again) , then good ,,,,,,,,,,, today i feel a broken man , money is very tight for me , £50 is alot of money to me these days ,, i do not gamble much these days ( except small steaks tournament poker) but last night i turned a $1.10 poker ticket into $9 then went to casino and got up to $14,250 , started off playing .19c spins on DOA got a couple decent features quick ,then raised it up to $3.60 got wild lines left with just under 3k then started playing at degen stakes on wish upon a jackpot / zeus/ ruby slippers / jack and bean stalk (got a 5.3k feature playing $20 steaks ) and finally i went on to bruce lee with around 14k started playing $17 steaks and raised to $30 once balance dropped , unfortunately after a 2.5k feature i continued to play and it pretty much ate the lot for 10k . There was some epic wins , but all pretty irrelevant now , sometimes my brain gets affected by the adrenaline , i have my birthday in 4 days time - i dont think its going to be a good one as im broke ;-( ,, but if this helps anyone from repeating the mistake i have just made then its worth while - cheers Link to comment
paton Posted 6 November, 2017 Share Posted 6 November, 2017 We've all been there man and its fucking horrible. Its difficult to tell anyone to stop playing or stop gambling as it never really helps. Best you can do is just keep rolling and whenever you win big just be sure to cashout at least a portion so you dont end up with nothing. Link to comment

David Labowsky Posted 6 November, 2017 Share Posted 6 November, 2017 You got one hell of a ride for a $1,10 poker ticket! I could start about why some of us talk about bottom lines to cash out all the time, but we've all been there man, we've all been and done stupid. Thanks for sharing your story, always a good read!
