ranbeg Posted 6 April, 2019 Share Posted 6 April, 2019 I NEED HELP AND ADVISE I made my first ever deposit on a casino site after watching streamers online. As i didn't want to affect my credit score etc i found William Hill would be ideal as they have a quick cash voucher option. I made a deposit of £50 via quick cash voucher, after a brief play of slots i was up to £250ish . I made a withdrawal of £210 via quick cash voucher (same method i deposited from). I had receive help to locate my voucher code via Live chat as i wasn't sure how to find the code. *HAPPY DAYS* I walked to a William Hill store collected my winnings. **WILLIAM HILL SECURITY CHECK BULLSHIT** Over the course of the next few days i had carried on depositing £20 (total £150 deposited) here and there via quick cash voucher. I have played various slots games and now i have £240, £60 and £170 pending in my withdrawals via quick cash voucher. I was told by live chat that there is a security check they do on all accounts and it will take 24-48hrs. It's now been over 5 days and i have forwarded my ID, Bank statements, bank card and utility bill. I received an email saying they don't need any docs as my account is already verified but security team is checking my account. spoken to live chat who has given me the same robotic answer of please wait 48rs for an email response Is there anyone who has face this similar problem if so how was it resolved? spiker1977 Posted 6 April, 2019 Share Posted 6 April, 2019 First stay calm. If you are verified and you have not done anything wrong, you will get your money. If you are scared to loose the money when w8 for the security team to finnish, put a £1 loss limit on you account per day, then there is no way to spunk it all away in rage. Quote Link to comment

I am trying to stay calm but i have read a lot of complaints online where a lot of other people faced similar problem and on ask gamblers there are a lot of complaints unsolved. e_abrams Posted 6 April, 2019 Share Posted 6 April, 2019 So your account is verified but security is checking your account? Shouldn't they have done this before they verified your account? I call shenanigans. 1 Quote Link to comment
Queen81 Posted 22 July, 2019 Share Posted 22 July, 2019 Hi did this get resolved in the end. I have 30k pending withdrawal since last Sunday so it’s been 8 days and 6 working days. Every time I call I’m being told checks pending but no one can tell me how long these checks take. I’ve had more pending with other sites and never experienced such poor service. I’m going to speak to gambling commission today. A withdrawal shouldn’t come as a surprise to them and they should be equipped to deal with it in timely manner. I’m furious Quote Link to comment

gypsycream26 Posted 19 January, 2022 Share Posted 19 January, 2022 I have been betting with WH for over 15yrs online and have never had any problems with withdrawals whether it be quick cash or debit card etc etc Even now if i withdraw to debit card it hit's my account within 4 hrs , i can only assume they are struggling with a backload of stuff due to lack of staff or whatever but i sincerely hope you get it sorted soon , i hate the robotic chat facility as well as it's time consuming having to repeat yourself , they withdrew the email contact during the original lockdown probably again due to staff shortage manning them , it makes it harder to now to contact them and get issues or problems rectified quickly. Good Luck with it Quote Link to comment
AshtonGTV Posted 5 February, 2022 Share Posted 5 February, 2022 Casinos don’t effect your credit score. It’s a soft search The second you sign up they’ll do a soft search. William hill does them too which will appear on your file but only you can see it Quote Link to comment
ElTel Posted 2 February, 2023 Share Posted 2 February, 2023 So I placed a bet based on a tip online. FA Cup between Oxford vs Arsenal, January 9th. The bet was a yellow card on a specific player - this player was then investigated by the FA due to a surge of bets on them apparently. William Hill had settled the bet as a winner but then put my account in negative balance due to the investigation - they were the only firm I believe to take this stance but I still understood. They then just froze my account. When I login it asks me to speak to live chat. I can tell you I did not wager that much nor am I close to being up on them. They said the bet was settled as a winner eventually as the FA investigation came to nothing. Live chat have actually confirmed there is money in my account but due to 'security checks' I cannot access it. They've said they cannot tell me how long the checks will take. One agent even said these can take 'months'. Farcical. Quote Link to comment
