Tjene Posted 20 September, 2022 Share Posted 20 September, 2022 I think you have misunderstood the tweet, "on October 18th to prohibit streaming of gambling sites that INCLUDE slots" meaning every single regular casino aswell not only crypto Quote Link to comment
ivan3011 Posted 20 September, 2022 Share Posted 20 September, 2022 Sounds like the end of gambling on twitch Quote Link to comment
Asle Martinsen Posted 20 September, 2022 Share Posted 20 September, 2022 No, it's only casinos that aren't licensed where there's consumer protection. So all MGA casinos are safe. 1 Quote Link to comment
Romados Posted 20 September, 2022 Author Share Posted 20 September, 2022 Yeah, but the prohibition is only on online casino's which aren't licensed in the US, which means that all the crypto casino's aren't streamable anymore. The licensed casino's aren't affected as for now Quote Link to comment

Romados Posted 20 September, 2022 Author Share Posted 20 September, 2022 Ah yeah, that's what I meant. I didn't write it properly But still a good step in my opinion Quote Link to comment
bitedust Posted 21 September, 2022 Share Posted 21 September, 2022 If twitch does go through with this regulation it's surely going to remove the entire slots/virtual casino category not just Crypto gamblers will be affected, even "real" money gamblers will surely get affected aswell. Celebrating already is celebrating way too soon. Quote Link to comment
flowerkool Posted 21 September, 2022 Share Posted 21 September, 2022 Great news. Allegedly this was all started when tw*t in an hat and trainwreck where caught righthanded with their anal b33ds controllers. They signaled each other and now moving to joetoebe. Anyways. Let’s watch the world burn 🔥. Enjoy the flames. Loving it. #bangamblingandsomemods Quote Link to comment

Those can be so harmful for their viewers. Of course this step could lead to prohibition of the whole casino section, but if you look at how long they took to get to this decision, I don't think a next step will happen in the near future. Slotplayer Posted 21 September, 2022 Share Posted 21 September, 2022 About time too..... the cancer of the casino section will hopefully finally be removed. Who knows, we may even go back to the days where £2 spins was considered high rolling! 1 Quote Link to comment
TimoSchellekens Posted 21 September, 2022 Share Posted 21 September, 2022 I wouldnt be surprised if they will put the entire gambling section on black on the 18th and then they will start to think how to filter out the shady streamers/casinos. Quote Link to comment
damnyouwagering Posted 21 September, 2022 Share Posted 21 September, 2022 glad in a way , we wont be seeing any casinos on twitch that dont bother about KYC. Now we will see who the real ones are Quote Link to comment

StallCation Posted 23 September, 2022 Share Posted 23 September, 2022 Finally Twitch are taking real steps to weed out these obvious BS fakers. Great news - hope they don't find loopholes like last time, when Twitch prohibited direct referral codes/links to gambling websites. Quote Link to comment

It's like the casinos without a US License that will be banned which also means that basicly all of the slots section are likely to be affected by the ban if they do come through with it. I think its nonsense since many of the casinos that dont use the mga license are still very good casinos and perfectly legit. Quote Link to comment
hhhhundredthousand Posted 24 September, 2022 Share Posted 24 September, 2022 ffs man, can any of you read the statement? Where in the fck can you see "Only casinos that have US gamling licence are allowed" Excuse my language, but it's really frustrating to see how hard it is to read for some people Quote Link to comment

StallCation Posted 23 October, 2022 Share Posted 23 October, 2022 Oh well, after five days with the updated terms on Twitch a lot has changed for the better; most BS Stake streamers have left to pursue other endeavours or keep the BS going on DLive and what not... Some things stay the same though... CD still streaming "responsible gambling content" including ripping 45000€ "raw" balances, doing 5000€ bonus buys and 100€ spins, etc. Apparently they were looking forward to doing 5-10€ spins again, now that there was no pressure to up the bets anymore from the terrible, fake competition. They probably just forgot... Quote Link to comment
bitedust Posted 27 October, 2022 Share Posted 27 October, 2022 What about the good sponsored streamers then? Like sebm1337, its a great streamer but sponsored by 500 casino. is it fair to dudes like him to get banned off twitch? Its not! I get that people react to those 1k dollar betsizes, only makes sense, but you guys seem to forget the crypto gamblers that promotes normal betsizes, which is a vast majority. I think this whining is more about crypto casinos most of the time being way more generous, faster with transfers and gaining popularity, and then other casino streamers lose signups because folks wanna be on the better casinos. Dont get me wrong, i like mga casinos alot, but im also using some crypto casinos, never had a problem whatsoever on them. and there's more crypto casinos than st*ke. people seem to forget that...
