Tyler’s hockey corner (playoffs day 5)

Day 5 everyone! Let’s get straight into it:

Current playoff record for betting: up 2 units - thanks to a cash on our best bet yesterday - Vegas ML + over 5.5 goals 

Current series records for today’s games:

Minnesota vs. Dallas - (Tied 1-1)

Bruins vs Panthers - (Tied 1-1)

Hurricanes vs. Islanders - (Hurricanes 2-0)

Kings vs. Oilers - (Tied 1-1)

Games I’m looking at for tonight:

1) Dallas vs. Minnesota

I’m a Dallas fan so of course I’m on this one, but not very heavy tonight. Dallas had a great bounce bounce back game on Wednesday and pounded the Wild 7-3, but although they played well we have to consider a couple of things for tonight:

-This game will be in Minnesota. Home ice advantage is huge for Minny tonight in a comeback spot to take a series lead. 
-Minnesota put in their other goalie for game 2. Marc-Andre Fleury is an amazing goaltender don’t get me wrong, but this was surprising after game 1’s goalie had an unreal game. Chances are we see the game one starter tonight 

Given that, the lines are the same for both teams on the ML (-110 or PK in some places) - bias pick here and I don’t have this straight up (check parlay at the end), but I have Dallas winning this one. I also have a player prop on Dadanov OVER 0.5 points at (+123)

 

2) Hurricanes vs. Islanders

This is the only other game I am looking at outside my parlay.  The Hurricanes barely got the win in game 2 - Islanders were all over them, and the Hurricanes lost one of their top players last game. The Islanders are playing in their home barn so that place will be jumping! With that, my pick for tonight is the Islanders ML (-120) for 2 units.
