Mississippi Stud is a game of high-risk, high-return. A player who wins the pot has to pay one of his cards back to the player who betted on his hand, and vice versa. In this game, you are competing not only with other players in the game table (that's why it is sometimes called Mississippi Stud), but also against the house dealer. Below, you will find all details about this game, such as strategies, tricks, tips for beginners and intermediate players.

You may have played Mississippi Stud previously in the form of Texas Hold’em, but now we are going to give you some additional information that will help you learn how to play the game. Mississippi Stud is a variation of Texas Hold’em. The dealer gives two cards and three community cards face down on the table, then he turns over the first community card. The player gets another choice of raising or folding, this continues until he gets four community cards. He then has a chance to make one more bet with any amount or fold his hand. Players win money according to winning payout tables as an outcome of their cards. There is no limit on raising before the player gets five cards from the dealer; however, once he does, he can only raise up to three times per hand until his final five cards are turned over
