What site doeseveryone use for crypto currency etc and where do you start?

Most people start off with Coinbase, as it's pretty user friendly and easy to get going.
However, Crypto.com and Binance are also just as good from personal experience!

Make sure that you get your account verified when you sign up. It's basically the same as KYC verification that casinos would ask for.
If you're from the U.K, also try and get your bank account linked instead of purchasing with your debit/credit card. You'll save on fee's!

Also, keep your coins secure!
Turn on 2FA as soon as you can, and if you get serious with investing and holding coins, consider purchasing a hardware wallet for peace of mind that they're really safe.

This website is a good place to start learning about crypto, and will help you understand the basics of how things work, and things like the terminology.

Happy Trading!

Damn do crypto casinos also ask for ID? i thought the whole point of crypto was to remain anonymous.

The majority now ask for KYC at a point.
However, this will usually be after you've hit a certain threshold. Conveniently for the crypto casinos usually after you try and withdraw a large amount so they have a reason to withhold the funds and not pay out.

Crypto is not totally anonymous though, there are various ways of analysing blockchain data so you should never assume things can not be traced back to you.

Cheers. I will avoid using them.
