I've been robbed

Recommended Posts

I want all of you gamblers to know what Nordicbet and it's sister sites are up to and give you a warning about not signing up to those sites! They’d happily let you deposit but dear God help you if you win some money...

I signed up to Nordicbet on 19.6.2021 and claimed the casino first deposit bonus. I played a game called "Dog House Megaways", because I happen to like the game a lot.
I played normally and for once the luck was on my side. Happened something totally unexpected and I ended up winnings over 13 000 euros as I had finished the wager!!! OMG!
13 000 euros is a life changing amount and I already started to have images in my head about how I could spend it well and some have fun too! :))
I made a withdrawal and at the same time asked them from the live chat, If they need any documents from me to process such big withdrawal.
They told me that they don't need. I waited for couple days and then went back to check my Nordicbet account, to see what is happening.
I got totally terrified, when I saw how my winnings had disappeared. My 13 000 euro withdrawal had been cancelled, the money removed from my account and the deposit which was couple hundered euros returned to my account.
At the same time I noticed, that I had received an email from Nordicbet. I tried to calm myself down while I was opening the email. Maybe this is just some bug that happened in the system.
Well, in that email they told me that the winnings had been removed from my account, because I had broken the bonus terms and conditions.
They gave the reason as following: 12.1: Any Bonus is only available once per person, family, household, address, e-mail address, credit card number, bank account, telephone number, computer/device and / or IP address.

My devices, bank card etc. are mine and only in my personal use. I right away contacted a place that handles disagreements between casinos and people. There they told me that these are the usual tricks casinos do when they feel like not paying out. I feel myself being ROBBED.

In the terms and conditions of Nordicbet it says that only one person per household can signup. How the heck am I supposed to know that the previous guy living here has played on your site??
If this is the case, then you should have not allowed me to sign up in the first place to your site!
No mention about the thing would have been made of course, if I had lost the deposit!

I investigated more carefully into this and found out that there is many sites run by the same company that runs Nordicbet. This company also runs sites like Betsafe, Betsson, Suomiarvat etc.
These are deposit-only shops, where they do not understand words "paying out".

I repeat it again, this and these sites are happy to take your deposits, but when it comes their time to give you legally won money they turn to something complitely different. So under no circumstance do not touch any of these sites or sign up to them!!! (Nordicbet, betsson, betsafe, Suomiarvat etc..)

Almost same happend to me today at Crazeplay.com. They took my witdrawal (500e) and my balance (1000e) because i wasn't entitled to claim/receive a cashback promotion as i haven't deposited last week?.. And i played a few spins on dead or alive 2 and that was obv a restricted slot...

Tommorrow got a chance to win some money at a tournament i already played but dont know if i can withdrawal any or dont let them anything know so that i unleast have some play money.

Damn, that's awful to hear.

So which part of their terms did u break exactly?

They state:

12.1 Any Bonus is only available once per person, family, household, address, e-mail address, credit card number, bank account, telephone number, computer/device and / or IP address.

Did u accidently sign up with them in the past?

I highly doubt someone will actually lose their funds in case of a past house-owner playing casino.
This the player cannot know. Even confiscation after sharing an internet connection in a student flat would surprise me.
I think they will eventually have to provide proof u did intend abuse, with possibly knowing breaking terms.

So I used to remember BML group stated u can only take 1 welcome offer from the group.
I cannot find this part anymore in their terms, so maybe this has changed. This is the part that really makes a shady casino.

Although (for example) it seems Casinoeuro does state this part:

12.2 Any "welcome" Bonuses are only available to new customers whom open an account on the Site and whom have never held an account on the Site before, have never received a welcome offer of any kind on any website belonging to our group of companies (Betsson Group) and whom are invited to take part in a welcome offer by virtue of it being specifically offered to them when they register on the Site.

I would advise to take a screenshot of these terms on Nordicbet

If they say u took another bonus on the brand, they clearly forgot to put this in their terms.

Sorry to hear that mate, heard a lot of bad things about those sites. Your better off in future signing up to a link on here there trusted casinos and won't rip you off

Even signing up through the links on Casinogrounds u can run into issues unfortunately.

Even if u open a 100 casino's u shouldn't be able to block a player from bonus use. (*cough* Aspire Global *cough*..)
Why do u open 100 casino's? If someone can only be active on one.. This is literally trapping players.
(However Casinogrounds is till promoting Casinoluck. Maybe it's time to review this @Skylined87.)

Also Genesis brands are still promoted. I wouldn't advise anyone playing there either (2% withdrawal fee!!).

Anyway, please request and provide more information regarding your case.
Since the brand (Casinoeuro) is promoted here I expect Casinogrounds could help aswell..

I personally don't see any reason to confiscate, unless u clearly abused the bonus or placed bets over 6€.

I've been primarily playing on Betsson Group casinos (Rizk, Betsafe) since Leo and Royal Panda went to 94% RTP on PnG slots. I have absolutely no complaints about them other than some slow customer service in off-hours at times. They're a big player and have been around forever, so they'd have no problem whatsoever paying out €13k.

I would ask them for more details on your situation. If it was indeed related to someone unrelated to you living at your address previously, I would consider that to be unfair, but it's impossible to say unless you get more information from them.

@weekend89 sorry to read that you have run into problems with a withdrawal from Nordicbet.

Nordicbet is part of the Betsson Group.
The casinos of Betssson Group are all legitimate and reputable.

As far as I understand, your winnings have been canceled as per the Terms & Conditions because of someone who has previously lived on your home address also had an account at Nordicbet.
If that is the only infraction against the T&C, I think you have a very good shot at getting your money plus winnings.

The complaint procedures on Nordic Bet are clearly listed in the Terms & Conditions that are stated on Nordic Bet's website, article 15:
https://www.nordicbet.com/en/terms-and-conditions#how-to-complain

The  complaint procedures include links to third parties (Alternative Dispute Resoluters) in case you are not satisfied with Nordic Bet's own decisions in your case.

Good luck in getting the issue resolved!
