Temple Nile Casino - Free Spins Offer... Is this allowed ?

This is no big deal but pretty annoying...

I received an email earlier from  Temple Nile Casino offering me a 200% 1st deposit bonus, and 100 free spins on Book of Dead.

I had just finished work and fancied a bash on the slots, so I thought I would give it £50 and give it a go.

I made my deposit choosing the 200% slots bonus and 100 free spins from the drop down box, and it landed me on the home page.

I could see at the top of the screen that my cash/bonus balances were correct, but there didn't seem to be any notification of any free spins (which I know is not unusual depending on casino).

Anyway, I thought I would check out book of dead and get the free spins out of the way, just in case I fancied a few spins with my raw cash.

Book of Dead loaded up but there was no sign of any free spins. So I thought I would give Live Chat a shout before pressing the spin button.

The nice man at Live Chat confirmed that indeed I had 100 free spins to play... but they could only be used on Twin Spin !!

After giving my account details I showed Live Chat the promotion that I had received (see pic blow).

The reply I received was... "The system controls the offers, we do apologies for the in convince. However, you may claim the 100 spins at Twin Spin."

I asked the guy how this was allowed, and it was like asking someone to buy a raffle ticket for the chance of winning a Rolls Royce, only to be told once you had bought the ticket that it was now a Fiat Panda (no offence to Fiat by the way, I'm sure the Panda is a cracking little car...).

I said no thanks, I will withdraw my deposit and forfeit the bonus just out of principle.

Live Chat replied, "That's entirely up to you!".

And that, is where I pressed the 'Close Chat' button !!!

So my question is, is this allowed, and has anyone else experienced the same/or similar problem ?

That's pretty shitty but honestly you should've been happy 100 spins in book of dead is worth 10£ and in twin spin they are worth 25£. Most of the free spins are always played on minimum bet.

I agree. He signed up for 10 pound free spins and then decided he didn't want the bonus anymore because the free spins were now worth more than twice that. Sounds like the guy on chat new this and didn't even try to explain.
I don't know what site it was, but a lot of casinos will give free spins with a 60x wager. Deposit match bonus will be half that at 30x wager. The important part of the bonus was the matched deposit bonus and you could have used that to play book of dead and the free spins seperate. Then you would have any winnings from both offers plus your  50 pound cash left.
It is not like the casino was doing you out of money trying to get a deposit out of you. They improved to the 100 free spins to be worth more than inital value on book of dead.

You did actually get a better offer, which was good. I actually think it's allowed for the casinos to change games, where you receive your freespins/extraspins. The value of them though, have to be at least the equivalent. In this case they credited them on Twin Spin which is 0.25€ min., making it more than twice the value.

Thanks Mario.

Yes I agree the free spins had a higher value, but it was more about taking up the offer on a slot that I like to play, rather than one I don't.

As most people will understand, BOD on a hot streak is really enjoyable. I don't think I would get same feeling from Twin Spin on a hot streak, even if it paid 50x - 100x more.

If casinos have the liberty of changing the slot that you sign up to play, then why do they bother sending out the specific slot offers ?

Once again, I'm not complaining. I just wondered if this sort of advertising was a regular occurrence ?

I do now have another question I would like to ask...

Is a casino allowed to display a screen shot of a slot provider, when they don't have any that particular providers games on their casino ???

For example, can you show a screen shot of Danger High Voltage on your casino, don't actually have any BTG slots on it ?

And again, not a moan as obviously you can look through the slots on offer before signing up.

I've had the same issue on another WhiteHat related casino before. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be very good at explaining their own faults, regardless of the situation.

As said prior, it's decent that they offered you the same amount of spins on another game at higher stake, but I can relate to your concerns regardless.

Funnily enough, I got the same offer in my email too.. But for me, it was a 200% with 30 spins on Wild Scarabs (microgaming).

Not sure what's going on there, but it seems like that they're changing the offer all the time, regardless of the complaints.

Otherwise you would have assumed that I receive the same one as you. Oh well.

Like I said, regardless of that, I feel your pain there. It is rather annoying.
