This is a severe restriction... Are bookmakers also banned?
Nothing online. Was pretty upset with it when went for 4 weeks holidays in summer during Euro and couldn't bet online.

Is good. They got the same in Sweden
Same in my country Poland, they banned good few years ago. I think it helps, if someone is not aware about place they can gamble they are not tempted

Australia is another country which introduced all type of gambling signage to be banned.
The ban includes imagines of dragons, coins, lightning motifs but also signs such VIP room/lounge, Golden room/lounge, Prosperity room/lounge, Players' room/lounge.
What are your thoughts about this type of ban? Do you think it is a good way to stop people with gambling addiction to help them stop gambling?
Maybe you already live in a country where this type of law was introduced?

Online casinos are banned in Poland!?!? Never even knew. Wonder how many other countries in Europe are the same. Ha e they always been banned or ?
There are more but not sure which countries.
Poland introduced this good few years back, and not only banned real money casinos but any type of options for people to play for fun. There used to be one playform were for years I played online casino games for fun, bo real money. Poker, slots, bj, and they banned that too.
Even more. No casinos can be visible to people, buildings where you can gamble cannot have any signs, banners, ads etc on them.

In Poland online casinos are banned, so the only option for those who want to gamble online are crypto casinos unless you use VPN but its risky as we know.

There's a bet from years ago I still regret not betting and that was Phil Mitchell from eastenders one day being clean shaven. Ladbrokes had a few crazy bets like this.
The most bizarre bet I done was a recommendation from a friend about how many suplexes Brock Lesnar would do in a wrestling event (think the bet won in about a minute into the match haha) and i Still can't believe they take bets for a scripted event hahaha
Isnt there a cheese rolling competition in UK you can bet on? Just remembered I came across its once.
Some bookmakers in my country give people opportunity to come up with own bets. Its crazy what people sometimes come up with 😂

Betting on things is something I've always enjoyed. It is fun and exciting.
Bookmakers around the world offer not only bets on who scores first goal, who wins the match, which horse wins the race, but they also offer pretty odd bets, such when the world will end( although no one knows how you gonna know you won if the world ended), if Elvis Presley is still alive, which celebrity will get divorced or married, if aliens exist.
What is the most bizzard bet you made? Or came across? 😊

I agree with @IguanaBob, I'd probably go to Malta and end up coming home with less than I left home with. That would be one heck of a fun time still though. If it was just 10k cash without the trip, I'd still probably travel with the extra money. What about you @thereshecomes?
In one word you planning to have heck of a holiday trip 😂 thats a good investment.
Me? I dont dare myself to imagine 😂 nothing good can come out of it

Knowing my luck, I'd lose it all and more in Malta and come back 5k down.
Winning 10k is against "knowing my luck" 😉 at least you wouldn't loose your money 😂 best of luck with the giveaway
1 out 5 Londoners would do what?

We can all agree gambling should never be considered a way to earn money. Apparently the high costs of living in UK make more people to gamble and hope to win.
Recent survey suggests 1 out of 5 Londoners, if they were handed £20 they would bet it in hope of winning big to help in cost of living crisis.
Does it surprise you?
