I've always said ELK is a provider with such great concepts for games. BUT: They literally lack in execution. This Pirots game, has such great potential - but they seriously have scripted this to the point where it's just not even fun to play. Making the PIROTS random so they drop on different locations is one level of volatility -> then the CHESTS you build up, also drops on random locations (makes it unenjoyable). Spoiler alert, for every 10 CHESTS you get, 1 HITS. I once had 15, and 0 hit. Super bonus buys are the only real way you get to "experience" any potential, and it's 500x and VERY volatile. So no thanks. Come on ELK, get better.

No I didn't but it was what I could afford. I'm a machine learning engineer FYI, so I know about small sample size bias etc - but that's not what I was asking. For all their other games they show the odds of getting a specific bonus, and the bonus buy cost then equates to the expected value. This is the only one where I couldn't see it making sense...

So I did 100 mystery bonus buys (lucky draw) on Dead Canary on $0.20 stakes. To buy a 0DX bonus cost 68x ($13.20) To buy a bonus with at least 1DX guaranteed cost 500x ($100) To buy a bonus which could give you 0DX, 1DX, 2DX or 3DX cost 284x ($56.80) Here's the results from my 100 buys: So, if roughly 3/4's of the outcomes are no gold canaries then how do they determine the 284x lucky draw buy. If I assume that every gold canary = 500x, then the expected value of that buy is $44.93 (224.6x) and trust me, more gold canaries does not mean bigger wins (EVER). Would love to hear everyone else's opinions - and get someone from NLC to help us understand. I emailed them a month ago, they never responded - so figured I'd go to the forums then. Cheers, D

I decided to give this game another play & go (pun intended)! £300 deposit, £0.60 stakes. 41 fucking trinities, ZERO bonuses. All money gone. It took €4,300. Every provider that has brought out a follow up has failed miserably. I love CasinoGrounds - but Beast Mode = no bueno. Takes 500+ spins to bonus and pays 20x time after time again. Better luck next time guys, this is an epic fail.

Look mate, I get your argument here. But how many times have you played reactoonz where it dicks you at the end (you know it's coming) or played wild frames and it dicks you with the second wild card, or play tome of madness and you know it's going to throw the wilds/books in the corners and miss. Pre-determined to the point where it's actually sickening. With most other providers, it's more subtle even if it's pre-determined. Makes me want to never play Play n Go again.

So, I've been slotting for quite some time. Nowadays, most providers "claim" their games are volatile - however, very little providers can actually achieve this. NoLimit City gets full marks, as almost all their games are VOLATILE - and what I mean by that is, you see no patterns in their games, every spin could be something completely different. Play n Go sadly gets no marks. Almost all of their slots are just RIGGED or PRE-DETERMINED. When I play Wild Frames, Reactoonz or even Rise of Olympus I can tell you exactly what's going to happen. So predictable. Not volatile. Think these providers need to learn a bit from NLC - by far the best provider out there!!
