Aspire group charging 2% to 4% fee for every bet!

Hi guys,

Surely this cannot be legal/in line with MGA guidelines.

The aspire group is charging between 2% and 4% fee per bet?

Not only do they charge withdrawal fees but now this.

A 400 euro bet on immersive is now costing me €16 to place!

I had to Google this as never heard of Buywin before, though from what i found i would guess your playing on a German casino:

It basically sounds like German operators have had to start paying higher taxes and thus lowered game RTPs to compensate - this BuyWin feature is essentially you paying more money to cover their extra tax expense and then you're allowed to play higher RTP games again - i guess roulette would be covered too as house edge is generally lower than the 5% tax they gotta pay.

 

Overall, in my opinion I'd say it sounds like a pointless scheme as you're paying a premium to help cover their tax liability that wasn't there a few years ago - possibly there maybe an option in Site Settings to disable it but then i would assume you're put back on lower RTP. Hopefully someone more familiar with it can advise you on whether it's worth playing or whether to find new provider.

They say they have applied it to all players now, so the extra 2 to 4% in all markets minus Germany is going straight into their pockets.

That does sound strange then, and yep would have to agree with everyone else it sounds shit and best to find somewhere new to play. I appreciate you posting as I'd never heard of it before cheers.
