Stevej Posted 22 July, 2020 Share Posted 22 July, 2020 I’ve been watching streamers playing Crazy Time since it was released. Nobody never ever ever wins anything from it. If they are really lucky and get bonus with multiplier, it gives something like 50x. It’s super expensive to play and hardly never pays back. It feels really ”patterned”. You realise it when you have watched it few times. Evolution also dropped the rtp of Monopoly. The highest x is something like 400x in last month. Why?? What are your thoughts? Quote Link to comment

siggy Posted 22 July, 2020 Share Posted 22 July, 2020 I played it for a couple of weeks, yeah it's fun and you get the occasional big multiplier but the fact you have to (i guess you don't) bet on 4 bonuses rather than the 2 on Monopoly just makes it rip the balance, Sometimes you're going 15-20 rounds without a bonus then it pays 3x, I actually hit 4 bonus rounds in a row and managed to actually lose money over the 4 rounds total as the bonuses i think from memory paid 7x, 5x, 3x, 3x, That's when i stopped playing I also hate the fact you have to choose on Cash Hunt and Crazy Time, Nothing worse than hitting a crappy multiplier while others are hitting 100x or bigger. explorer Posted 22 July, 2020 Share Posted 22 July, 2020 (edited) Crazy Time has the best math model of any casino game I've ever seen. It's designed to encourage bigger bets, make hits feel bigger than they actually are, and big wins are always only one spin away (you don't have to land a multi and then a premium segment in succession), making them feel more attainable. All the live wheel games also encourage fear of missing out that you don't usually get from non-progressive slots. I had some nice hits a few weeks ago (500x, 280x, 200x, a few other big ones), but it ripped me for several thousand in the week following, also consuming way too much of my time, so I'm cooling off from it right now. It's a very dangerous game - it's fun and it can pay big, but you really need self-control to be able to pull yourself away and not play at irresponsibly high stakes. Yeah, the ‘missing out on’-part makes these extremely dangerous aswell. Especially the 24hr-trackers will leave you with a ‘what if’-feeling. The big wins are indeed not as big as it seems. As we bet on 5-6 sections a 100x win will keep you betting for only 20 rounds. If a streak of 1,2,5 follows it’s gone. Quote Link to comment
moreanimalsthanzoo Posted 22 July, 2020 Share Posted 22 July, 2020 Yeah I can agree with @explorer - its really dangerous. I can't control myself sometimes and stop. Sometimes pays big, not often tho. Quote Link to comment
Teamkayenne Posted 22 July, 2020 Share Posted 22 July, 2020 Hmm.. I think crazy time was under construction for almost 2 year behind the curtain. The calculations are quite easy to be honest. I don't think it's the worst (till now). In order for you to have decent win is to bet only on the bonuses. But if the downfall of 1s and 2s begin it's game over. I'm really not a fan of live casinos games because the money can be gone in less than an hour and I have been one the many players who had a lot of tech issues with Monopoly rounds. Soo.. Slots are wayyy better for me. 😋 Quote Link to comment

dirtystack Posted 16 January, 2022 Share Posted 16 January, 2022 It’s an illusion - the bonus rounds have the worst RTP of all the positions. It tricks the player very well - pretty much the perfect design in that regard. It is immensely popular compared to any other live casino offering - so popular in fact that any decent casino has to have it in their catalogue. As they need Crazytime they also pick up the whole evolution suite. Evolution gaming is completely crushing the competition - will complete Leroy dominate the US market as that starts opening up. If you are sick of Evolution taking you money I suggest buying Evo stock. It is on sale now after that silly complaint submitted by a competitor. Will go back to previous highs near or after earnings report - expect this to be first year posting $ 1 billion revenue. 50% profit margin, potential dividend, stock split and US IPO on the horizon. Literally cannot go tits up - I got in at 946 kr/sek and it’s been printing since. 2 Quote Link to comment
dispenseri Posted 18 January, 2022 Share Posted 18 January, 2022 I never enjoyed it but I can see why some do. The design and pace of it never struck me as interesting. Quote Link to comment
