Slotplayer Posted 24 June, 2018 Share Posted 24 June, 2018 Online gambling business 32Red has been penalised for not protecting a consumer from gambling-related harm and money laundering failures. The Gambling Commission investigation focused on 32Red’s dealings with a customer who, between November 2014 and April 2017, they allowed to deposit £758,000 without carrying out social responsibility or money laundering checks. Nicola Posted 25 June, 2018 Share Posted 25 June, 2018 Missed opportunities indeed, especially after the player won £1m+ in one spin/hand and immediately gambled it all back. Ouch! However, press coverage of this makes it look like 32Red gave the player free money / deposit offers to keep him gambling. The truth is, that he received the same as any other player would in terms of match deposit offers and/or promotions. Link to comment
