  1. Played on Leovegas, payout 164x

Finally managed to reach a payout over 100x from basegame, bonus buys appear to work better tho.

Feedback (revised and updated from the previous promo, for which feedback was not required):

Overall, I like the game, brings back old golden memories.

After playing it more, I've realized how badly rigged the "jackpots" may be. After the x-amounts reached over 40x value, each and every jackpot trigger (around 5 during two sessions) activated the Wild desire, even tho it's "random". Payouts of course all were below 40x, worst and most typical ones were 1-5x for a wild desire feature.

Quoting my last input: "For the mechanics, most tedious thing is the "jackpot" collection garbage. For an experienced player, all extra jackpots are effectively -rtp in basegame. Players spin, collect, grind and trigger a basic feature or bonus and it's typically 15x with a slim chance of getting the wild desire with a high multi for anything respectable. In the old one, the Sarah bonus was worth collecting, at least for me. This one appears to squeeze normal bonuses from basegame too thin."

I would further agree that a game with so many features squeezes payouts from basegame too thin.

Slightly adjusted, if there is a sequel, remove all jackpots, expand the grid for better cascades (larger than Anvil and Ore -slot), set max win 5-6kx for better viral reception of max wins (players and forums share max win-clips very efficiently), calibrate wild desire to be a cascading feature (one drop with multipliers and transforming symbols e.g. humans into vampires), decrease options of bonuses into two plus the wild desire (4 characters have features, 2 of which can be chosen into a bonus) and most importantly, revive the old songs.

  2. Played on Leovegas, payout 39x

Feedback (even it may not be required):

"I wake before the dawn, there's a Hampe still on the stream (wall).." Finally it's here! I am biased, but I like it, even tho the payouts are garbage (four bonuses, all below 39x and a wild desire 1x multiplier feature paid 31x). After watching streams with basegame and bonus buys, it appears to be more of a bonus buy game to reach high wins (vs. basebet). Cascading wins with multipliers, bonus buys, "jackpot" features, grinding goals, audio options for music, options for bonuses etc, this surely has them all (and don't call me Shirley). I reminds me of the olden days when providers competed with features and high quality video/audio and collection features hoping to retain players. However, it needs to be pointed out that the original Immortal Romance was a reskin of at least a few identical slots plus Thunderstruck 2 and Finer reels of life deviants.

As an overall experience it offers pretty much everything that can be packaged into a slot. Only thing I was hoping for was the old songs, especially legendary Amber-song could have returned at least with a clip into the bonus tease. Since it was created for Microgaming, copyrights should belong to Microgaming. Yet, as Kathleen Kennedy put it "Less is more", screwing up most hopes for returning featured old/past actors into Rise of Skywalker.

  3. 58x Played on Leovegas

    Feedback:

Five deposits in, maximum return for 4x feature 58x, banlisted, never to be played again. Yeah, it has some nice new features of multipliers of coins&sweets nothing special there. At least the old scam with the magnet was improved to actually help the player to get a better return.

Milking a working concept in this case is becoming obvious, upcoming sequels: Retro Chips, Retro Sweet Liquorice, Retro Popcorn (with more random garbage popping around the screen) along with the final sequel "Push product owners taking the old Retro dump on players". More push adds these buttons of features on their games the worse they get frankly, RTP of 96% gets even harder to reach. I would appreciate to integrate the self-exclusion button in the game as well, would make the obvious next step quicker. ;)

P.S. Copycatting ****saw replays, "bonus hunt" features etc. should include copycatting the payouts as well. Make a simple test, run this one alongside competitors' same products with the typical 10kx max win and you'll see why players spin elsewhere.

  4. Demo

    X-Win: 230x

    Feedback:

After having bought some bonuses and being nourished always with 20-25x returns on the buy, realized this one is for demo play only. I don't frankly get it, Pirate Pays Megaways <tm> has already been done and this one is basically the same. Yeah, 150kx alleged max win etc, also Peking Luck has already been done by Pragmatic. It appears to be just a reskin with a lazy twist.

Music&visuals tho are cool with this one with one exception. When spinning basegame, it follows too obidiently the good old Bonanza spin&sound-pattern and gets really boring quick. Feels clunky as well, perhaps BTG should try to modernize the audio patches to last longer than one spin.

Otherwise, solid production, yet ,after and with Sanctuary, all BTG releases appear to be installments for Mr Robinson's retirement fund and Evo shareholders. Very small portion is left for the player in the end, music fading into the distance.
